The simplistic Scandinavian design featuring a darker surface adds an exclusive edge and personality to this loudspeaker that will match your room both in performance, size, and appearance. Use IKON 6 MK2 as stereo speakers in midsized to large rooms or as front speakers in a midsized to large cinema set up to enjoy the full potential of your preferences.
The construction principle of the baffle effectively dissipates vibrations and resonance, and the crossover is mounted directly onto the terminals, thereby minimizing any potential signal loss. Moreover, the lip of the front-mounted bass reflex port is fitted with a gasket to ensure no air leakage or turbulence. To us, every detail counts!
The combination of the bass/mid drivers and DALI’s unique hybrid tweeter module helps achieving the level of precision and resolution of fine detail that made the IKON name legendary. IKON 6 MK2 now completes the legacy.
Marantz SR7005
The new SR7005 AV Receiver with 7x 125W into 8 ohms keeps cross channel contamination to an absolute minimum for ultra-precise signal processing. The “muscle” power of the system comes from the current feedback circuitry with Marantz HDAMs and an oversized low impedance transformer for rapid current supply. Not even extreme demands for power will pull the SR7005 off balance. The “brain” of the system is the latest 400Mhz Sharc DSP, which easily handles HD audio decoding including the Audyssey DSX and the MultEQ XT room calibration.
The source signal can be either digital or analogue, and it can also be from a wide variety of inputs. First of all, via the six HDMI 1.4a inputs, one of which is hidden behind the front flap for easy access. For new media there is a iPod-digital-compatible USB input, while the RJ45 Network jack provides connection to vTuner Internet radio and music services such as Napster and last.fm. You can even access your music library stored on computer . Classical analogue signals will come from the built-in FM tuner or via either the analogue input jacks or the Phono equalizer: which is ideal for vinyls. Video signals are also treated with loving care by ABT2015 video processing, a host of video adjustment possibilities and two HDMI 1.4a outputs supporting 3D video. It’s all there, eager to please.

Marantz UD7006
The UD7006 is a 3D capable Blu-ray Disc player that combines HD surround sound with 3D picture. But not only that, it is also DLNA1.5-certified, which means it can stream audio and video stored on your home network. Also, to ensure top audio quality, it includes a special decoder for HD sound formats and uses a 32-bit audio DAC with 7.1 analogue channel out.
The audio stage uses customized components and the unit can even play the high resolution SACDs via the fast loading mechanism. Standard DVDs gets a quality boost too – thanks to Anchor Bay’s ABT 2015 VRS™ video processing, which outputs 1080p from standard material via the HDMI 1.4a port. But as with all Marantz players it’s musicality that reins supreme, and to ensure the best from CDs there’s a Pure Direct Mode.
